CHINESE GIRLS: We are looking for young 17-22 Chinese girls now as well. Please resubmit as

Set inside an airport. It’s Christmas. Every flight has been delayed because
of the recent snow fall. Mariko tries to facetime her family but her network
is down. Paul, without thinking, awkwardly offers her his phone in broken
english assuming she only speaks Japanese.

Missing Christmas, the most important holiday, the time when the
whole family is together, would bring up all sorts of emotions for them.

They are surrounded by adults, businessmen, families…and both are on their own,
teenagers in a very unusual, stressful situation. It’s daunting. Almost overwhelming. But
in our story, they save each other from what might have been a miserable time. That’s our
message: technology helps people turn a bad time into a good one through connection.
And we need to feel it through the lens of a 19 year old.

MARIKO: (Chinese) (Female, 17 – 22)

Mariko is an 18 year old asian girl.

Classic, angel face, she’s way out of Paul’s league. There’s something
effortless about her even though she is stunningly beautiful.

At first, she seems a bit coy, what we’d expect. As the film progresses we
realise there’s more to her than we thought. Paul’s connection to her grows
and we see her playful, sarcastic and fun side emerge.

to be invented), SMADs such as replay/catch up TV + Indoor/Outdoor broadcast

c) Indoor/Outdoor broadcast : video in-closed circuit including digital
display(s)/OOH, In-Store advertising in all public places such as concert

e) Outdoor Billboards (including digital display/OOH) + Press + Internal &
professional usages including BtoB communication, conventions, professional
exhibitions, public and press relations, ad Festivals, Advertiser’s
headquarters, halls, offices, etc:
1 440 Euros including agency fee, per film
f) All Print supports/materials/uses: including (including digital
display/OOH), Press, POS, Posting, leaflets, mailing, guides, etc. + use on
Internet + Internal & professional usages including BtoB communication,
conventions, professional exhibitions, public and press relations, ad
Festivals, Advertiser’s headquarters, halls, offices, etc.:
4 800 Euros including agency fee, per film
ii) For International usage of the Campaign/Film(s): on a country by country
basis and/or buyouts (see attached Orange international schedule, page 5):
fees are calculated on the base fee (see i) France (including French
Overseas Territories + Monaco) = 100% Basis), depending on chosen media
options (applicable for any media options) to which you apply the rate of
the selected country or international buyout.
ii) Global Internet / Worldwide: Internet (all means/ways/methods incl.
mobile Internet) : all websites/interfaces/platforms incl. advertising
banners, social networks (such as Youtube, Dailymotion, Facebook, Twitter,
Pinterest), and Direct Marketing (e-mailing, MMS, and any means/ways/methods
whether known or yet to be invented), SMADs such as replay/catch up TV +
Internal & professional usages including BtoB communication, conventions,
professional exhibitions, public and press relations, ad Festivals,
Advertiser’s headquarters, halls, offices, etc:
2 400 Euros including agency fee, per film
iv) “Social Networks” + Corporate / Worldwide: Only Advertiser’s Internet
pages/interfaces/platforms/social networks (such as Youtube, Dailymotion,
Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) + Internal & professional usages including
BtoB communication, conventions, professional exhibitions, public and press
relations, ad Festivals, Advertiser’s headquarters, halls, offices, etc:
720 Euros including agency fee, per film
Non Commercial Usages: It is agreed that the Model and the Model Agency
and/or the Local Production Company allow the Advertising Company and the
Advertiser to use the Campaign/Film(s) or some excerpts of the
Campaign/Film(s), or any rushes or visuals or images taken from the
Campaign/Film(s) for professional magazines, internal and PR purposes. The
Model and the Model Agency and/or the Local Production Company also accept
the broadcasting of the Campaign/Film(s) or some excerpts of the
Campaign/Film(s) in any territory for non commercial purposes (such as
educational or cultural programs, news programs, ad festivals, TV shows,
etc…), PR purposes, events even if these broadcastings are not the
responsibility of Advertising Company nor the Advertiser, worldwide, for a
period of three (3) years starting from first use of the Material (renewable
for further periods of three(3) years by tacit agreement unless notice of
termination is submitted six(6) months before the expiry of the applicable
period).
Commercial Usages and Authorized Material: The rights to use cover all edits
of the commercial(s) (full length and cut downs – without limitation) for an
unlimited number of showings. The Model and Model Agency and/or the Local
Production Company allow the Advertising Company and the Advertiser to make
any change in terms of image, editing or sound that would be necessary for
the achievement of the campaign. The above mentioned right to use fees
covers usage of all the following material, for the duration, in the
territory and on the medias to be specified in the purchase order, knowing
that the client is under no obligation to use the said material :
– video images: Campaign’s film(s) (incl. all edits, cutdowns, formats,
versions, packshots, GIF(s)/VIF(s) & incl. video/still images from the
Campaign/Film(s) + Making Of, teasers, bonus videos
– stills images: stills extracted from the Campaign/Film(s) + on set
photographs + visual(s) from the shooting/photo session
Tax Form and Payment:
Royalties from French origin paid abroad are subject to taxation in France
at a withholding rate of 33,33%. In order to comply with articles 155A,
182B, 1671A and 1768 of the French Taxation Code, and in case the model is
resident of another country for Tax purposes, then the Model Agency and/or
the Local Production Company will attach the Tax exemption Form(s) filled in
the name of the Model, duly completed and signed by the local Tax Office the
Model depends on together with the original invoice and corresponding
purchase order in order to benefit from the provisions of the OECD model tax
convention between France and the country of origin of the Model and to
avoid double taxation.
Should the Model fail to do so he/she will face a withholding of payment or
deduction at source of 33.33%. Such rate will be reduced between 33,33% and
0% depending on receipt of Tax Form(s) and convention provisions. In any
case and upon receipt of the corresponding Tax Form a withholding or
deduction at source of 0% will be exercised on all royalties payable to the
Model Agency and/or the Local Production Company for the Model.
The Advertising Company will send the Purchase Order for the usage rights to
the Model Agency and/or the Local Production Company and will handle payment
upon receipt of the corresponding invoices. It is specified and agreed by
the parties that all payments made in the hands of the Model Agency and/or
the Local Production Company are deemed to be payments made to the Model
Agency and/or the Local Production Company and the Model. The Model Agency
and/or the Local Production Company thus further guarantees the Advertising
Company and the Advertiser against any and all claims costs proceedings
demands losses or damages which could be brought forth by the Model Agency
and/or the Local Production Company by reason of the exploitation of the
image and likeness of the Model in accordance with the terms and conditions
set out herein.
No rights to use fees will be paid if the material is not used and/or if the
Model is not recognizable. The advertiser has no obligation to use material.
Applicable Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of France. The agreement contains the entire understanding of the
parties relating to the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior
understanding or agreements of the parties. If The Parties cannot reach any
satisfactory agreement, the competent jurisdiction will be the Tribunal de
Paris (France).
